Gaultier aposta naquilo que ele já conhece bem: criador do estranho, ou seja, fantástico. Fantasias Noten, manchas parecendo estampas sobre a pele, sensacional.

Homem alinhado é sinônimo de conteúdo interessante: inteligência, senso de estética e comportamento, higiene, boa educação – homens usando Louis Vuitton então é o apice do que poderia se esperar por um senso de moda masculino refinado.
Nada muito novo, uma cara de esportistas de hipismo, o que por si só já cria todo um charme especial. Botas de cano médio, sobreposições, camisas de linho sob sobretudos escuros, luvas de couro, tecidos fortes, coturnos sobre calças mais justas, além das bolsas. Deseje estes.

A inspiração de Marc Jacobs para o inverno de 2010 foi o “New Look”, moda lançada por Christian Dior em 1947. Metros e mais metros de tecidos para construir estes vestidos bem amplos até a altura dos tornozelos, além da cintura marcada, sapatos de salto alto, luvas e bolsas  – que estão totalmente incríveis.

Esta silhueta feminina e jovial atravessou toda a década de 50, servindo de base para a maioria das criações deste período. Apesar dos caminhos naquela época indicarem para uma moda mais simples e prática, acompanhando as mudanças provocadas pela guerra, nunca um modelo de tendência foi tão bem aceito como o “New Look” pelas mulheres, o que indicava um anseio pela volta de feminilidade, luxo e da sofisticação. Christian Dior foi quem liderou este movimento, até sua morte em 57, de lançamentos de novas tendências quase que a cada estação.

Com o fim da escassez dos cosméticos do pós-guerra, a beleza se tornaria um tema de grande importância. O clima era de sofisticação e era tempo de cuidar da aparência. A maquiagem estava na moda e valorizava o olhar, o que levou a uma infinidade de lançamentos de produtos para os olhos, um verdadeiro arsenal composto por sombras, rímel, lápis para os olhos e sobrancelhas, além do indispensável delineador. A maquiagem realçava a intensidade dos lábios e a palidez da pele, que devia ser perfeita.

A década de 50 foi sem dúvidas o momento em que a alta costura viveu seu apogeu, estilistas consagados da época como o espanhol Cristobal Balenciaga – considerado o grande mestre da alta-costura -, Hubert de Givenchy, Pierre Balmain, Chanel, Madame Grès, Nina Ricci e o próprio Christian Dior, transformaram essa época na mais glamourosa e sofisticada de todas.

Já hoje, nos modelos de Jacobs, abusou-se de estampas florais em Jacquard, cores sóbrias, ombros marcados, sobretudos acinturados e decotes profundos, fazendo alusão aos marcos estilísticos dos anos anteriores a década do “New Look”. Extremo bom gosto e beleza.

Nowaday, the basis of Jacobs are to abused floral Jacquard, soft colors, marked shoulders, thinning coats waistered line and deep necklines, alluding to the stylists marks of the previous years of the decade “New Look”. Stunning.
